Pre-treat. Extract. Deodorize.

A careful process for the furniture your home uses most.

Why Clean Upholstery

Your sofa holds more than it shows.

Fabric furniture absorbs body oils, pet dander, food spills, dust, and everyday residue over time. Vacuuming helps the surface, but upholstery cleaning helps remove buildup that settles deeper into the fabric.

Pet hair, dander & accidents

Targeted treatment helps break down odor-causing residue in the fabric — not just mask the smell.

Food, drink & stain buildup

Coffee, grease, crumbs, and spills can settle into fabric and often need more than surface spot-cleaning.

Body oils & everyday soil

Headrests, armrests, and seat cushions absorb oils from regular use. You often feel the buildup before you clearly see it.

Allergens & dust residue

Fabric furniture can hold dust and fine residue, especially on cushions, mattresses, and upholstered pieces used every day.

How It Works

A deeper clean for fabric furniture.

We start with the areas that need the most attention, then clean and extract the fabric to remove soil, residue, and odor-causing buildup. Dry time and optional protection depend on the fabric, condition, and service selected.

Final method depends on fabric type, condition, stains, odor, and selected service.

01

Pre-treat problem areas

Pet spots, food spills, armrests, headrests, cushion edges, and high-contact areas are treated first so the cleaning solution has time to work before extraction.

02

Hot-water extraction

A professional upholstery tool rinses and extracts soil, residue, and cleaning solution from deeper in the fabric — not just the surface.

03

Shampoo & deodorize

Fabric-safe cleaning solution and deodorizing help lift buildup and reduce odor-causing residue, leaving the furniture cleaner and fresher.

04

Dry time & protection

Dry time depends on fabric, airflow, and how much cleaning was needed. Fabric protector can be added when selected or recommended for high-use pieces.

FAQ

Upholstery cleaning FAQ.

Common questions about pricing, fabric types, dry time, pet stains, and booking.

Most furniture types are priced flat: Sofa $100, Loveseat $75, Recliner $60, Sectional from $200, Dining chairs from $35 each, Mattress from $80. Oversized, severely soiled, or custom pieces are quoted before cleaning starts — no surprises on price.
We clean most synthetic and blended fabric upholstery — the most common types found in sofas, sectionals, chairs, and mattresses. We test an inconspicuous spot first. If the fabric is not a good fit for extraction, we will let you know before starting. We do not currently clean leather.
Most sofas and chairs dry in about 3–6 hours. Drying time depends on fabric thickness, airflow, and room humidity. Open a window or run a fan to speed it up. We manage moisture during cleaning to protect the frame and padding underneath.
In most cases, yes. Enzyme pre-treatment breaks down the odor source at the fiber level before extraction — not just masks the smell. For severe cases where the odor has saturated the padding or frame, we will quote it first and set accurate expectations before starting.
We currently focus on fabric and blended upholstery, not leather. If you have leather furniture that needs cleaning, give us a call and we can point you toward the right specialist for it.
Yes. Upholstery cleaning can be added to any residential carpet cleaning visit — same crew, same visit, one scheduling call. Just note the furniture pieces when you book online or request a quote. We'll confirm pricing before we arrive.
Most food and drink stains respond well to targeted pre-treatment followed by extraction. Results depend on the stain type, how long it has been there, and the fabric. We treat problem spots specifically before running the extraction pass to give them the best possible outcome.
We serve Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, Lemoyne, Carlisle, Hershey, Middletown, York, Lancaster, and surrounding Central PA communities. Not sure if we cover your area? Call us or request a quote and we will confirm availability.
